Webelos to Scout Crossover Report

Dear Scout Leaders:

The Webelos to Scout transition is extremely important to Boy Scouting.  As our Webelos visit and choose Boy Scout Troops, it is difficult to keep track of everyone.  You can help by using the following form to tell district leaders which Boy Scout Troop(s) the Webelos from your Cub Scout Pack have joined.

Your assistance in this matter helps immensely and is very gratefully appreciated.

Yours in Scouting,

Ric Williams
Asst. District Commissioner, Webelos to Scout Transitions
Puget Sound District
Pacific Harbors Council

In which month does your Pack typically hold its Webelos to Scout Graduation?
Did your Pack have any second year Webelos in 2006/2007?
If so, have these boys already graduated into Boy Scouting?

Please provide the name(s) of second year Webelos registered in your Pack this year and indicate if they have joined a Boy Scout Troop.  If you know which Troop they have joined, this information is very helpful as well.  More space is provided below for any comments or notes that you might want to add.

Future Crossovers

Puget Sound District is very serious about making the Webelos to Scout Crossover as effective and seamless as possible.  These next questions are targeted at helping us to achieve this goal.  These questions are optional but your input is greatly anticipated and appreciated.

In the 2006/2007 program year...
Did your Pack encourage Webelos and parents to visit at least 2 different Troops?
Did your Pack have any Den Chiefs supporting you from local Troops?
Did your Pack have any first year Webelos attending Webelos Weekend 2007?

Comments/Notes

Please include any comments or notes that you feel are important or necessary.  Notes about which Troops your boys typically join is very helpful.  Information about why a particular Webelos has decided not to continue in Scouting is often helpful for us to improve as a district.

Thank you for helping the young men in our community!  We hope this form has been a convenient way for you to provide this information.
