The yearly Webelos to Scout transition is extremely important to Boy Scouting.
As Webelos leave the Cub Scout ranks and join Boy Scout Troops, it is very easy
for their records to get lost in our system. We desperately need your
assistance in this area. You can help by doing the following:
Please turn outstanding new Scout registration forms into the Council office
ASAP. Without these forms we don't find out about missing Scouts until
next year's re-charter.
Please complete and submit the form below to tell district
leaders which boys have joined your unit and which Cub Scout Packs they came
from. We match these against similar reports from the Cub Scout Packs
and attempt to make sure that every Webelos is accounted for.
Your assistance in this area helps immensely and is very gratefully appreciated.

Future Crossovers
Thunderbird District is very serious about making the
Webelos to Scout Crossover as effective and seamless as possible. These
next questions are targeted at helping us to achieve this goal. These
questions are optional but your input is greatly anticipated and appreciated.
In the 2006/2007 program
year...
Did your Troop make any
deliberate efforts to actively recruit Webelos from Packs?
Did your Troop have any Den
Chiefs supporting local Packs?
Did your Troop have any Scouts
or Adults supporting Webelos Weekend 2007?
Does your Troop have an
active/organized New Scout Patrol or similar program?
If you received Webelos
crossing over at different times in 2006/2007...
What was the earliest
month that Webelos started crossing over into your Troop?
What was the latest month
that Webelos started crossing over into your Troop?
Would it help your Troop if all
Webelos crossed over in the same month?
Comments/Notes
Please include any comments or notes that you feel
are important or necessary. Information about Packs that traditionally
have provided crossed over into your Troop is often very helpful.
Thank you for helping the young men in our community!
We hope this form has been a convenient way for you to provide this information.
